New things

Here is a sneaky peak of what is to come over the next week I have been experimenting with birds and the alphabet, this is one of the sketches from the experiments :) Xx

Alex seems to be a busy busy bee at A P Illustrations this week...... its all about the computers this week theres not been a pencil in sight! :o/

oh well heres hoping next week bring something slightly more creative then meta tags! :o) Xx

Meeting Moggles

Meet Moggles

I had the pleasure of playing in a friends potting studio for the day the othe week and i turned this drawing from paper to a life size model of moggles :) it was a little too much fun :O)
all thats left to do now is glaze him and then i cant wait to bring him home!

here i little competition i think i might enter, i missed out on all the festival tickets this year...... it's always worth a try! :)

Recently i have been doing portraits for people this is one of them..... i do struggle with getting my pencil work onto the comupuetr to a high standard so please bear with me while i discover how to do this :) x

So here it is! Today i hung all of my final pieces ready and waiting for the examiners and the exhibition, im finding my self a little lost not having to rush around or writting last minuet essays at gone midnight, i have thouroghly enjoyed my time doing my corse and in a way im kind of sad that it has come to an end, it has been a great journey and one that in many ways will continue... so here's to having a bloody good few years and here's to all the new beginings ahead!


oh and here's to never writting an essay again :OD Xx

Im not too sure if this link will work but as a kid this was proberly one of my first loves of animation, although it is now old it is a style that i think has stuck in me in different ways and forms!
i stumbled on it in amazon the other day i couldnt resisist buying it for a mear £3.27 :)

A sneeky preview of the coloured art work!

so with the end of uni looming i have been Franticly trying to illustrate a book about a little mouse! its a sweet little story that has a quality of quaintness about it. I have been Trying to study the ins and out of the mice so i could get a good grip on how they moved etc..... here is a sneeky preview of the line drawings for the book, the final piece is in full colour and has been done useing pencil crayons.
